Galatians 6:7-9 Don’t be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant. Those
who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and
death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit
will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit. So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. NLT
It's easy to think sometimes that when we do something wrong, or even right that there won't be any consequences, but there is. God has a justice service of his own, some call it karma. Although it has the basic concept, it's still not quite the same. Whatever we do will somehow or another come back to us in this life. Whether it's something good, or bad. If you are to plan carrot seeds, it's pretty obvivos in harvest time you will harvest well, carrots. The same way does for how we live, whatever we do we will eventually harvest the exact same thing.
Although I mess up, that doesn't mean I'm living to satisfy by sinful nature. This verse is talking about people who are not repenting of their sins, that continue to live in sin day by day without repentance. That is when you will harvest eternal life in hell. True Christians live in repentance. We live to satisfy the spiritual nature with will harvest everlasting life in heaven.
This was really reminded me not to give up. Once these 118 days are over, Kevin and I will finally get those blessings we have been waiting for, we just need to make sure we don't give up.
Grr. Today we messed up a little again, it wasn't as bad as we've done in the past again, but that sill doesn't make it right. I'm just so tired of it. We tried really hard to make sure we didn't put ourselves in the position to mess up, and it almost worked. Today was still a win though! I know we still messed up, but we're stopping each other more, we messed up for maybe five minutes. That's a million percent better than before. Maybe it's just gonna take a few times to help us get out of the habit of this sin. One thing I do know, when we see each other next Friday, we aren't gonna mess up at all. I don't care how hard it is, starting today I am literally not gonna leave any room for mess ups. Day Ten Completed!
109 Days Left!
