Lamentations 3:25 The Lord is good to those who depend on him, to those who search for him. NLT The KJV version actually says wait instead of depend. I know waiting and depending don't have the same meaning, but in this case I think they really think they correspond.
If we are waiting on God, you are depending on God and his timing. If you are depending on God, you are waiting on God and his timing. Does that make sense?
I know I hate waiting, I want it now. The thing is God knows now isn't the right time. I need to learn to fully depend on God while waiting and know his timing is the best. In doing so, God will be good to me.
The same goes for searching for him. I know sometimes I don't feel like I'm able to search for him since I know where he's at, but what it means my searching for him is just spending time with him, getting know him as much as possible through prayer and his word. Day Five Completed!
